Community Based Services |

| Specialized Scattered Living Sites (Community Based Services) are established neighborhood homes for youth who do not require institutional care, but are in need or the supportive assistance of 24 hour staff to have a normalized home setting in the community. These homes have no more than four youth at each living site. All staff have completed the comprehensive training in order to povide necessary monitoring and mentoring to the youth in care.
Requirements for Admission
- Age 13 – 20
- Male only
- IQ between 48-70
- Transition from a residential placement but still in need of a 24-hour staff-secure setting
- Mental Illness Diagnosis
- All clients receive medication management (as needed)
- All clients attend school off-grounds at Lawerence School District
- All clients receive independent living skills and job training skills
