Family Involvement
Family therapy is significant in that family members are involved and seen as an essential part of the treatment process. Family therapy is facilitated by members of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and is intended to be a positive learning experience for the family. Understanding attitudes and values will assist the family members in recognizing the family system and the roles that each family member plays within the system.
Discharge Planning
Discharge planning is a key component in the treatment planning of each resident. Discharge planning will begin at the time of admission with the primary goal being successful reintegration back into the community. The Options Transitional Living Unit understands the need for careful reintegration back into the community and places a great deal of focus on facilitation and optimum use of all community resources and services avaliable.
