Options Treatment Center Programs




 

Options Treatment Center is a Title-IV approved, CCI licensed and Joint Commission accredited facility providing secure, 24-hour care in a residential environment. Options consists of the general residential units (both male and female), the sexually maladaptive behaviors unit (males only), PRTF - Medicaid unit (both male and female), and transitional living units (male only).  

General Residential and Sexual Maladaptive Behaviors (SMB) Units

  • Age 8–20
  • IQ between 48-70
  • Difficulty in a less restrictive environment
  • Mental Illness Diagnosis
  • All clients receive individualized treatment plans, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, medication management (as needed), and attend school at the Options facility
  • Independent living and vocational training is also provided
  • Substance Abuse education and counseling as needed
  • Specialized SMB programming is provided for residents with sexually maladaptive and sexually reactive issues


PRTF (Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility)

  • Age 10–18
  • IQ between 48-80
  • Male and Female
  • Must have an acute inpatient stay within the last 6 months
  • Must have failed out-patient services within the last 12 months
  • Severe Mental Illness Diagnosis and/or multiple diagnosis on Axis I and Axis II
  • Currently have valid enrollment in Medicaid
  • Clients can be placed by their legal guardians without the need for a court-ordered placement
  • All clients receive individualized treatment plans, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, medication management (as needed), and attend school at the Options facility

Transitional Living Unit

  • Age 13–20
  • Male only
  • IQ between 48-70
  • Stepping down from a residential placement but still requires a 24-hour staff-secure setting
  • Mental Illness Diagnosis
  • One unit is General Residential and one unit is SMB
  • All clients receive individualized treatment plans, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, medication management (as needed)
  • All clients attend school off-grounds at Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) 
  • All clients receive independent living skills and job training skills
