Founded in 2000, Options Treatment Center (OTC) is a Joint Commission accredited facility dedicated to the care and service of its children. Options Treatment Center provides a continuum of care for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities which allows each child to grow and learn. The goal is for all clients to successfully manage their emotional and behavioral impairments safely so that they can return to their home and community.
Options Treatment Center is an 88 bed residential treatment facility with 3 locked PRTF units and 3 locked General Residential units. Options has a special program dedicated for youth who have sexually maladaptive behaviors. This program is on a locked unit and once treatment is completed, the child has the opportunity to step down to our Transitional Living Program where new skills learned can be generalized in an open setting while reintegrating the youth back into the community.
We realize that each child brings a unique set of behavioral and emotional needs as well as individual strengths and those strengths are incorporated into the child's treatment while new coping skills are identified, practiced and applied.
